I've always been told that my grandmother, Gladys, was a 2nd cousin to Orville and Wilbur Wright. I remember my grandmother showing me a picture of her on a front porch sitting on a gentleman's lap. There was another man sitting next to him. She told me those were her cousins...Orville and Wilbur. Her father's name was Joseph Wright. Her mother's name was Armenda Arfleeti Elsworth Weempee (not sure of that spelling). I was told her mother was a full blooded Comanche and her father was a doctor.
