Wright was born in Rome, New York in 1833. He married Fannie Vickery in 1857 and they moved to Kansas. They had two sons-Frank and Ed. Frank moved on to Texarkana, Ark. and married Lucia Keene and they had three sons-Ed, Frank and Robert O. Ed had son John and daughter Caroline. Frank had son Robert E. and daughter Jacquiline.
