I am trying to work out who the parents might be for James Wright born 16 July 1811 in Greenville, TN; md 23 Mar 1844 place not known. He died 19 April 1886 in Highlands, Macon Co, NC. James was married on 23 March 1844 to Jemima Norton who was born 03 Dec 1816 in Pickens, SC. Don't have a death date for her. I know they had a son Charles Nicholas Wright b round about 1873 in NC. He md 1st to a Mollie Edwards and she died and he md 2nd to Helen Pauline Cabe. James And Jemima Norton Wright also had a son Barak Wright born 1848 in Macon Co, NC and he md on 22 Feb 1872 to Virginia Adeline Green who was b ca 1851 [given the 1880 census]. They had Francis P , born 1878, mary E. born 1876 and Lila born in 1880. James and Jemima also had a son Marion Wright who was born ca 1848 [again going by the 1880 census], and they also had a daughter Mary E. born about 1854 [going by the 1880 census]. James Wright was a carpenter, was age 68 in 1880 and says he was born in Tenn; his father was born in Ireland and his Mother was born in Va. Jemima Norton Wright was 65 in the 1880 census and says she was born in SC; her father in VA and her Mother in SC. Anyone having anything at all to guide me, I would be ever so grateful. Claire
