My husbands Grandfather was Ernest Ervan (Irving) Wright born 1900 in Jersey City and died 1971 in Laurence Harbor, NJ. One of his brothers, Frederick was born in Perth Amboy, NJ in 1895. I am trying to find out Ernest's father and mothers name. My Wrights were water people and family memories tell of Ernest being born on a barge and family say there was no birth certificate....names that run with this family are James and William and Frederick.. Ernest, Frederick and possibly James lived in Tottenville, Staten Island, NY for awhile. Any help would be greatly appreciated...maybe we are related.
