They were of Irish descent and are connected to a Matthew Wright (b. circa 1804 Ireland) family in Toronto, ON. The Hamilton family is Henry George Wright probably born sometime around 1840s - 60s in Ontario. He married a Kate Craig and had at least 2 sons George (b. 1891) and Harry (b. 1895) who were born in Hamilton and served in the militia there during WW I.
