Mickey, I do not know much about Judith Wright Wofford other than the b. bonds and will. William Wofford is on the 1850 Lincon CO., TN census but the name is spelled WARFORD. William is 77 from SC, Judy (Judith) is 67 VA. Their dau Lucy age 27 from SC is living with them as is her husband Geo.W. or P. MOONEY age 26 born in TN. Geo and Lucy married 28 Feb 1849 Lincoln CO., TN. We know that William Wofford was in Linc. CO by 1828 for he and his son Isaac are buying land. I do not find William Wofford on the membership list for the Mt Carmel Primitive Baptist Church but his wife Judith Wright Wofford was a member as was Jacob Wright his wife Nancy McMillin/McMullin Wright, Susannah Wright Jones and her husband Joseph Jones. We call this above Jacob Wright "Old Jacob" for there where several Jacob's in Linc CO. Lot is known about Old Jacob after he arrived in Linc. CO. He was one of the first settlers of Linc. CO. He was very rich with lots of land. A good deal of his records are on file at the Nashville Library and Archives. My internet friend and researcher Wanda, who is a descendant of Old Jacob, has never been able to find out who his parents where. I do believe that Judith Wright Wofford, Susannah Wright Jones and Old Jacob Wright could have been siblings. There was a Dennis Wright in Linc CO by 1820. Some researchers believe he may have been an Uncle to Old Jacob. Others on the 1820 Lincoln CO., TN census the first census for Lincoln were: ANDREW C. WRIGHT (nothing is known on him) BENJAMIN WRIGHT (we know a lot on his 3 sons but cannot identify all of his 7 dau's) ELIJAH WRIGHT (Elijah bought and sold land in the town of Petersburg, in Linc CO., TN in the early 1800's) OLD JACOB WRIGHT JACOB WRIGHT (old Jacob had a Jr. but we do not believe this is his son but another Jacob) SOLOMON WRIGHT (believed to be my line) DENNIS WRIGHT (Dennis & his wife were up in age on the 1820 census, no children.
