Do you have any information regarding Clayton Wright's sister Mary Ann, b. 1818? I am Mary Ann's Great-granddaughter by her marriage to Thomas Varker, a miner from Cornwall, England. I have researched all six of their children. My grandfather, James Thomas Varker, was their oldest child. Information on Mary Ann's marriage document to Thomas gives her last name as Geddis. At first, I thought it was her maiden name, now I believe she may have been married once before. She was 24 when she married my GGF - kind of 'old' during those days for a first marriage. Like you, I have been told that my ancestors were Native American, but to date have not found that link. Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
