It is claimed that on February 16, 1895 at Salt Lake, Utah, Wright murdered three boys and to conceal the crime, took the bodies out on a lake, cut the ice and put the bodies in the water. He was located in one of the Degun mines and word was sent down for him to come out. He refused to do so until the officers sent the handcuffs down and allowed him to put them on.
