Thank you so much for the information. It appears you, yourself, have done a lot of work on this family. I am as sure as I can possibly be that my Mary Ann Wright is the daughter of Richard, Jr. I believe it has been verified by her name being on the deed transfer. Had the Varker name not been evident, I would have questioned it; however, now I know which line of Wright's I now belong to. I cannot begin to imagine on how to get in touch with the right family members. I would truly love to get in touch with family who may know something of her. I've contacted many of the Dickens family members of Davidson - Thomas and Mary Ann's daughters, Mary Jane Varker and Sarah Varker, both married into that family. No one has any rememberance/record of Mary Ann. John, a son, married into the Gallimore family and Starr family (2nd wife); William, the second son, never married and died at Point Lookout, MD during the Civil War. My Grandfather, James, served the Confederacy by working the mines - mining ore for munitions that were used. I am so looking forward to establishing contact with other Wright family members. If you happen to know/know of any, please let them know I am here, looking for Mary Ann. I can tell them what happened to her. Perhaps I can help in establishing her line as well.
