I have a copy of the will of Richard Wright Jr. He was born in Rowan Co., NC. His mother was Ann(Nancy) probably Morgan. Richard Jr. married Nancy Morgan in 1780. Nancy was a sister to Barbara Morgan who married my Benjamin Wright Sr. After the death of Nancy...Richard married Cary Kittreil (will says Cary) Their children included: Nelson, Silas, Ruth, Burgess, Cei lly, Clayton, Mary, Micajah, Miles and Ailsy. "The children of the first wife came west except Nancy. Many settled in Washington and Putnam Co., IN. Two, at least, moved to Iowa in their latter days. Richard Wright Jrs. war record was proven by the DAR record (National # 152225)(date May 27, 1919) There is one filed under same number but dated Nov 14, 1919 is for his father Richard Wright Sr. Richard Wright Jr. was a Baptist minister.
