Barbara, I don't know if you know but Warren Co. was formed in 1813 before that it was part of Washington Co. I printed a map from RootsWeb on all the counties of NY and it shows the date formed, the parent county, county seat, and who to contact. I know my Wright's were mostly in Buffalo, Erie, Co. but everything I have on my gg-grandfather just shows that him and his parents (unk) were born in NY. I have been trying now for about 8 yrs to find out who my ggg-grandparents were. Wright's are like Smith's..............LOL. If I can be of anymore help, let me know.
