They are of English lineage .... meaning that they had some title,,,, thought.... The Wrights lived in Plymouth but were quakers... and were punished about the time of the witch trials. My tenth great grandma was mary andrews wright .. and was stripped naked and whipped and sent throught the streets for either preaching or showing up in church in a guinney sack to protest ... BUT they moved to oyster bay then jersery ... But this family went all over.. But I cannot read the posts that you guys sent me .. so I dont know.. The wright are also listed on the wrights of long Island Oyster bay ( new York ) web page so look and read this .. and let me know if who matches. Thanks Christine ...
