Mildred: Do you have any Wright names and Dates they went to Kentucky ? I am looking for my g,grandfather Benjamin Wright that was born, 1828-30 in Scott County, Ky . I need his parents names as this is my wall. Any help will be appreciated. Bill

Bill John Wright (1) was born May 7, 1770 Lunenburg,VA. He died May 7, 1849 Allen County KY. He married Mary W. Bruer, 10/12/1796 Brunswick Co., VA. She was born August 1775 VA and died 1860 Allen County KY. Thomas Chambers, John Carpenter and John Wright came from Virginia in 1805 and settled in Allen Co. KY.(From History of Allen County, Ky.) They had 12 children and moved around Allen, Warren, Barren and Simpson Counties. My grandfather moved to Union County. Some went to Montgomery Co., IL.
