I camea cross this thread while doing research on my own family. Here is what I have on Lycurgus Wright and Caroline James; I'm backing way up so bear with me; My great grandmother was Hazel Fern Jackson (born 1899, died in 1984.) She married James Taylor Sigrist. (B 1899 died in 1959). Hazel's parents were Alford/Alfred Chesley Jackson (born Feb 20, 1876 in MO), and Lauretta Wright. Lauretta born in June of 1876.. perhaps before... unsure of exact date). Born in Easton, Buchanan MO. Lauretta's parents were Lycurgus Wright and Caroline James. Lycurgus's mom's first name was Damaris. Unsure of her maiden name. (My grandmother, who is still living) tole me we were related to Jesse James through Caroline. I'm unsure of that! If anyone thinks they might fit into this family tree somehow, please let me know!
