As the family story goes, the only reason my last name is Wright is that my great-grandmother married a Wright, who adopted my grandfather and his other siblings. So, you might say that I'm a Wright by way of...... What my grandfathers real father was is a mystery to me at this point. However, I believe that the Wrights that I may end up researching may have come from South Carolina (I think). Thanks for the info!
