I've "rescued" an old wedding photograph identified as Sarah H. WRIGHT which was taken at the Excelsior Photo Co. Studio in Trenton, New Jersey. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Sarah appearing to be in her 20's or 30's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate one possible match in census records as follows: 1880 census of Trenton, NJ: John WRIGHT, age 46, born NY, a Grocer, parents born NY Amanda WRIGHT, wife, age 45, born NY, Keeping House, parents born NY Richard WRIGHT, son, age 20, born NY, Clerks in Grocery Store William WRIGHT, son, age 14, born NY, Going to School Robert WRIGHT, son, age 12, born NJ, Going to School Sadie WRIGHT, dau, age 10, born NJ, Going to School Harry WRIGHT, son, age 7, born NJ, Going to School Lavinia BELMONT, other, a widow, age 23, born NJ, a Dress Maker, parents born NJ August BELMONT, other, age 21, born NJ, a Cashboy, parents born England/NY Wallace BELMONT, other, age 6, born NJ, Going to School, parents born England/NY I am hoping to locate someone from Sarah's family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of family.
