Alot are thinking that jesse or james is ballinger father,Iam the odd ball in our group! Iam researching that Ira or Lewis is ballinger's father. Heres my theory. Its close! I think Ira and Lewis and james and jesse and yours robert could be brothers! Lewis was a baptist preacher and gave his services at several of the same churches ballinger preached at. Not only that you can find lewis living right next door to ballinger in one of the census! Where else would a grandpa be but right next door helping his young son and being by his grandchildren!
