What concerns me is that one person puts something down (and often without proof) and it carries over and over to the next person/group.. and SO it continues.. I'd love to confirm that James was the father of our Barbara, but DAR or any other genealogical organization won't accept that without proof. Does anyone know if he left a will, naming the daughters? Or perhaps land titles, estate settlements, court records of any kind.. or anything with their names? I know the DAR application copy that I have does not list the daughters.. ?????
