I've learned a lot from your input -- For Susan - You have given me new insight on Davidson Co. I knew that Davidson had been part of Rowan at one time, I just didn't realize HOW the separation had been accomplished. It's nice to know why I saw the difference. For Bud - Some of the Wright family in Davidson did move westward to Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri. They carried the same names throughout each generation, sometimes withing the same generation. Without specific information such as location, birth year, etc., it's difficult to establish who's who. Even so,we may be of the same base family. I, too, prefer dealing with information that can be substantiated. For Debbie - if you would like to do so, please contact me personally. You're right - we are family. Regardless of whomever Richard Wright, Sr.'s parents were/are, you've given enough information about his children to reinforce my own research. If you're interested in R.W., Jr's second family, perhaps I can fill in the empty spaces - especially since there is none about my Great-grandmother Mary Ann Wright Varker, except that which I personally researched.
