Author: henrijay48 Surnames: Wright - Morgan Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.wright/15365/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Recently information was posted that DNA testing had proven that Daniel Wright was not the father of Richard Wright Sr. I have found research on Ancestry that takes Micayah Wright 1808 back to a similar lineage but to a brother of Daniel Wright. This is not my information...so I am only relaying what I have found. It is just interesting that a Micayah 1808 and Micajay 1820(son of Richard Wright Jr.) were both born in Davidson Co., NC...but may not be related.
