I'm a teacher in a tiny bush village in southwest Alaska. Weather is a big stresser right now. First day of spring and it's -27!! What's up with that?! Saw pictures of the Skagit Valley tulip fields in Washington which is my lower 48 home area. Made me major homesick. Anyway, the info you want is Virgil Wiles was born near Bakersfield, MO in 1893 and died in 1967. He was married to Anna Jackson, her parents were William Jackson and Rebecca Hall Deatherage. She was born March 22, 1894 in Fulton Couty Arkansas, near Moody. She died Sept. 25, 1986 at the age of 92 years old. She and Virgil are both buried in the Oaklawn Cemetery in West Plains, MO. She wrote me when I was looking for my dad's family. We corresponded for almost 10 years. She was a really sweet lady. One of her children was Dr. Jack Wiles of West Plains, MO. He passed away on May 1, 1985. I have pictures of Virgil, Anna, Jack and other family members. If you'd like me to send them to you, let me know.
