I say "may be" because Wright is such a common name and there are many different lines. Julia and/or Dennis Gilmore in California 1900 Census 1910 Census 1920 Census If Julia and Dennis are your direct line ancestors, do you have any Wright or Gilmore male cousins who would be willing to do a DNA test? The cost is significant, but you can sign up, make payments, marking them with "For: Name" and "Test Kit #". Then when you have reached your goal, advise them that you have reached the payment for the 12-, 25- or 37 markers. (I think these are the correct numbers, but you get the idea.)
