The Family Finder test gives the same type of results for both men and women and has meaning for ethnic mixture going back 5 to 6 generations. The test costs $289 and I owe MsLefty an apology for my previous post where I said that for the $289 you would get a 37 marker Y-DNA result as well as a Family Finder result. I was wrong about the price for that combo testing. I should have noted that the cost for obtaining both 37 marker Y-DNA results Family Finder results is actually $438.00....quite a difference!
