They had five children, Martha (1859), Isabella (1860), Truman (1863), George (1865) and Janet (1870). George died on March 22, 1899, and it was on his death certificate that I found his place of birth: Brighton, ON. The death certificate also lists his parent's names, Ebenezer and Martha Wright. I found George listed in nearby Cramahe Twp in the 1852 census as a 19 year old mill worker, where I also found an Eben Wright (age 52), living with Lucy (54) and Silas (16) Wright. The 1852 census doesn't give relationship to head of household, so Silas could be Eben's son, but also his nephew, while Lucy could be his wife (Martha Lucy Wright), his second wife, his sister, his sister-in-law, etc. At the moment that's all I have. I'm hoping to find more, because at this point the Wrights are the one branch of my tree that I've run into a brick wall while still in Ontario, and my initial family history goal is to find everyone who crossed into Ontario Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
