The Marriage Register for Pulaski County, VA, lists the marriage of W. L. Wright and F. H. Ellis on Sep 8, 1888, in Pulaski County. His parents are listed as M. F. & S. Wright. I am confident that the "M" is a misreading of a "W", which would identify your William Lewis Wright as the son of William Francis Wright and Sarah Catherine (Garnett) Wright. Although you will need to obtain a copy of the marriage license from the Circuit Court to confirm this misreading, this seems to complete the identification of William Lewis Wright's parents. In addition, the will of Joseph Wright dated May 30, 1826, and probated in February 1827 at Augusta County, VA, W.B. 15/424 listed a son Joseph Wright, among other children. So this is further confirmation of your line of descent from (1) 1826 Joseph Wright of Augusta County, VA, to (2) his son Joseph Wright (Augusta County) to (3) James A. Wright (Floyd County) to (3) William F. Wright to (4) 1937 William Lewis Wright of Mercer County, W VA, to (5) Richard Lewis Wright. Robert N.
