Wright and Sarah Catharine Wright, the parents of William Lewis Wright. I found no listing of a marriage of William F. Wright and Sarah Catharine _____ in Roanoke County, VA, in the early 1860's. The 1860 Census for Montgomery County, VA, listed a William F. Wright, age 23, in the Walter C. Deyerle household. Dyerle was listed as a distiller, as was William F. Wright in the 1866 birth record, so this is almost certainly your William F. Wright prior to his marriage to Sarah Catharine _____. The Montgomery County, VA, Marriage Records listed the following marriage of William F. Wright and Sarah C. Garrett: 1860/12/18 William F. Wright & Sarah C. The names of Sarah Catharine (Garrett) Wright's parents need to be rechecked and may be mislisted as Wright rather than Garrett. Otherwise, this seems clearly the marriage of your William F. Wright and indicates he was the son of James A. Wright and Elizabeth Wright and born in Augusta County, VA, and based on the other records in about 1837 or 1838.
