Right in the 1850 Census for Floyd County, VA, with the following household: James A Right, 36, farmer, 500, Virginia Elizabeth Right, 35, Virginia Wm F Right, 13, Virginia John M Right, 12, Virginia Joseph H Right, 9, Virginia Mary E Right, 7, Virginia Luvena Right, 4, Virginia Sarah J Right, 1, Virginia. This seems clearly to be the family of your James A. and Elizabeth Wright with their son William F. Wright who married Sarah Catharine (Garrett) in 1860. The 1860 Census for Floyd County, VA, also listed James A. Wright with William F. Wright gone from the household, which is consistent with the listing of William F. Wright in the 1860 Montgomery County, VA, census mentioned in the prior posting. The 1870 & 1880 Censuses for Floyd County, VA, also listed James A. Wright.
