Attached below is a copy of a posting by Annemarie on the Augusta County, VA, message board dated Jan 6, 2001, which states that the Joseph Wright who married Polly Thompson was the son of Joseph Wright who married Ruth (possibly Evans) Wright and who died in 1826 in Augusta County, VA. This would be consistent with the Joseph Wright, Sr., and Joseph Wright, Jr., listed in the 1810 Augusta County, VA, Census mentioned in my prior posting to you on this line. If this information is correct, and it appears that it can be checked through Augusta County W.B. 15/424, then your line of descent would be as follows: 1. 1826 (year of death) Joseph Wright of Augusta County, VA, (place of death) and Ruth (possibly Evans) Wright, 2. Joseph Wright and Mary "Polly" (Thompson) Wright, 3. James A. Wright (Floyd County, VA) and Elizabeth (_____) Wright, 4. William F. Wright and Sarah Catherine (Garrett) Wright, 5. 1937 William Lewis Wright of Mercer County, WVA, and Rosa/Rosie Nellie (Conley) Wright, and 6. Richard Lewis Wright and Anna (Jianniney) Wright.
