My great grandfather was Charles Isaac Brownrigg from Edenton, North Carolina. He married Mary Isabella Parker Brownrigg from Edenton. Mary Isabella had family members whose last name is Holley and still reside in Edenton and Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Mary Isabella moved to New Jersey when her children were relatively young. Her youngest daughter, Charlotte was my paternal grandmother. When my great grandmother left North Carolina, ties with the Brownrigg Family were cut.
