I am a descendant of Richard Wright, Sr. of Rowan Co., NC. I have a question for those who are researching or have information about Rowan Co. records. Are there land records telling HOW the people got the land? Grants? Purchase? Inherited? Where would I look? I know the Family History Centers probably has something, but past experience has indicated that NC is limited on available court and other records. Thanks, Ellie Stites Swanger
