I also have a question concerning my grandmother (Ida May Wright) who has always claimed she was the second cousin of the Wright brothers. I've hit a road block on her father whose name is Presley Oren Wright. I can not find out who his parents are...I've tried searching the internet as well as ancestry.com and have had no luck. There was a book published "The Heizer Family: American Pioneers" that stated she is the second cousin. Ida May Wright married my grandfather, Oscar Stuart Heizer who was the US Vice Consul for Constantinople, Turkey appointed by Teddy Roosevelt in the early 1900s. A lot of people in our family have the middle name of "Wright". Would you happen to know? Or could you steer me in the write direction?
