Wright? She has posted his obituary notice on-line. It goes as follows: Pressley Orren Wright (1830 - 1913) Adams County Free Press, Corning, Iowa November 22, 1913, Page 7 P. O. Wright of North Corning died Saturday morning, November 14, 1913, at his residence following a long and painful illness, aged 83 years and 7 days. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the home conducted by Rev. E.C. Sitts, pastor of the Christian Church. Interment was made in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Pressley O. Wright was born November 8, 1830, in Hocking County, Ohio, where he grew to manhood and where he was married to Miss Lucinda Reynolds in 1853. To them eight children were born, three sons having preceded their father in death. The living children are I.F. Wright of St. Paul, Minnesota; Mrs. George (Emma) Spurrier, residing near Mt. Etna; Mrs. J.M. (Susan) Barr of Carbon; Mrs. Jay (Fances) Conaway of Corning and Mrs. Oscar (Ida) Heizer of Constantinople, Turkey. Mr. Wright served in the 90th Ohio regiment during the civil war. With his family he removed to Iowa settling on a homestead half a mile east of Kent. Later he went to Pottawattamie County and then to Cromwell. He removed to Corning in March, 1897, which has since been his home. Besides his aged wife and children he leaves sixteen grandchildren and three great-granchildren. Those attending Mr. Wright's funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. E, Dougherty of Creston, Mr. and Mrs. H.V. Wright and son, Harvey, of Kent. Mr. Wright was educated for a teacher in his youth and taught school many years, also was well read in law. He was an upright citizen and was well respected and esteemed for his many noble qualities.
