The loss of court records from King William and Hanover Counties makes the documentation of this identification difficult. The circumstantial evidence for this identification is set forth in my work Sorting Some Of The Wrights Of Southern Virginia, Part VII: 1767 Francis Wright Of Amherst County published Dec 25, 2008. That work is available in a number of libraries and if you will provide me with your address, I can let you know the library with a copy nearest to you. If you would like a personal copy, I also sell a scanned copy of the work on a set of CDs. Contact me offline regarding the cost. I have seen no documentation that identifies Francis Wright's wife Ann (_____) Wright as Mary Ann (Edwards) Wright. Also, my records indicate that John Wright, the son of 1713 Francis Wright of Westmoreland County, VA, and Anne (Washington) Wright, was 1729/30 John Wright of Stafford County, VA. 1729/30 John Wright of Stafford County, VA, married Dorothy (_____) Wright and they had one son 1742 Francis Wright of Prince William County, VA. 1742 Francis Wright of Prince William County, VA, married Anne (Massey) Wright and they had three daughters and no sons: Elizabeth, Dorothy, and Frances. I will be happy to exchange information on these Wright families with you and other interested researchers. Robert N.
