Samuel had an uncle Joseph Thaddeus Sylvester Wright born 1844 in West Virginia. I don't know if he was ever in Indiana. In 1850 he was in Missouri and died in Missouri in 1880. His wife was Mary Frances Coyle from Missouri. Their children were Robert, William, Mary and Frank. I went a couple of generations back farther in the direct line and found no other Josephs. The family was in Clay County, Missouri for awhile but I found nothing in Indiana. Mainly Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, a short stint in Oklahoma, and finally Oregon. This bible belongs to my Daughter-in-laws family. Samuel and Cora's daughter Lelia is her great-grandmother. My granddaughter Leela is named after her just spelled different. Lelia married Claude Lester Jones and they had a daughter Geraldine born 1926 in Baker, OR. Geraldine was my daughter-in-law's grandmother. She married Herbert Emmett Knapp in 1946. They had a daughter Wanda Joann Knapp who was born 1947 in California. Next came Melissa my daughter-in-law. She would very much like to have this bible. She would be happy to provide you with any additional information you might need to confirm her direct relation to Samuel and Cora. Mar 1859 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island ), who married Stephen Henry Lewis (b. 13 Dec 1857 in Economy, Colchester, Nova Scotia, Canada). They lived in Somerville, Massachusetts. I do not know whether they were married in Canada or in the States (their marriage year and immigration year both appear to be 1885, according to census records), and I can find no record of Laura's birth in PEI or her parents.
