My great-grandfather, Daniel Hyndman had an older brother named Archibald, and he had several children by his first wife, Margaret Paton. She died fairly young and he married Isabella Miller. Archibald and Margaret's children were George (1874), Peter (1875), James Paton 1877), Agnes Jane (1880), Elizabeth Morrison (1881), Archibald (1886) - married Martha Shaw in 1904, Margaret Paton (1888)and Claud Paton (1890) Margaret died in 1890, and Archibald married Isabella in Dec. 1890. They had 2 children - Janet Young (1891) and William Miller (1892) My GGF Daniel married Mary Paton, who was Margaret Paton younger sister. They had 7 children, but I think only 4 of them survived to adulthood - my grandfather, Daniel (1890) and his 3 sisters, Mary, Janet (aka Jean) and Martha. They moved from Paisley to Glasgow sometime btn 1900, when Mary died, and 1911, when my grandparents were moved. My Dad Robert James was born in Glasgow in 1920 and immigrated to Canada in 1952. I hope this helps. Jean Hyndman (Toronto) , Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. If you read the will John Wright names his married daughters in 1789 and Nancy is referred to as Nancy Elliott . There is NO mention of a Nancy Parker in this Will . When our Nancy Wright married Wyatt Parker in 1779 in York Co, VA her mother & guardian was named as Ann Williams , meaning her father had died and that Ann had remarried to a Williams by at least Dec 1779 .
