    3. I would love to see some of the Wrights in your family tree. I've hit a brick wall with mine. They, too, were from Alabama, and some from Madison County. Please let me know if you have a Charles Wright or James Wright. Thanks so much. 2. Glenn, Some descendants with the Wright surname will enjoy the DNA project for the Wright Family at Familytreedna.com. My own family descends from Daniel Wright (Revolutionary Soldier) and Nancy Young. It was a treat visiting Daniel and Nancy's graves on July 4th, several years ago. You might have heard that Daniel and Nancy had (or have) many descendants in Alabama, and you may descend from him or close Wright Family that settled in Madison County in the 1805-1815 timeframe. Daniel and Nancy are 4th Great-Grandparents on the Wright branch of my family tree. Good luck making your Wright connection. Author: map2knit Surnames: Naughton, Wright, Keller, Mytton Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.wright/9083.2.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Christine: This reply centers on the Naughton surname. My x2 great grandmother is Mary Naughton (dates unknown) who married Garrett Keller (dates unknown) in 1825 at St Martin In The Fields Parish. Garrett was a boot maker per his daughter's birth record (Mary Elizabeth Seton Keller (1838-1898)). He is listed as deceased in September 1860 on MESK's marriage certificate to John Mytton (1832-1922). So the questions are: What were Thomas Naughton's dates? When did he and/or his forebears come to the States? Is the above information enough for you to make a connection? Incidentally, as an added irony to the recently found picture, my surname is Wright; however, my Dad's family were Southerners (Alabama) and I haven't been able to get beyond my most probable great grandfather.
