    3. Dear Ann, There is a string of postings on GenForum for Wright which ended up with the following summary of a Wright family from Letcher County, Kentucky, and Wise County, Virginia: George W. Wright was the son of Alexander Wright and Mary or Lusitha (_____) Wright, was born on May 7, 1867, in Wise County, Virginia, resided in 1870 in Wise County, Virginia, married Elizabeth Bowling/Bohling on June 12, 1889, in Letcher County, Kentucky, resided in 1900 in Lipps Township, Wise County, Virginia, resided in Virginia until after 1912, and resided in 1920 in Letcher County, Kentucky, and died in Cincinnatti, Ohio. Elizabeth (Bowling/Bohling) Wright was born in December 1871 in Kentucky or Virginia and died in Cincinnatti, Ohio George W. Wright and Elizabeth (Bowling/Bohling) Wright had the following children: 1. Cynthie E. Wright, born in July 1890 in Virginia, 2. Mary Caroline (Wright) (Wiggins) Fischer, born in June 1892 in Virginia, 3. Clara E. Wright, born in April 1896 in Virginia, 4. Leander Wright, born in December 1895 in Virginia, 5. Bertha M. Wright, born in July 1897 in Virginia, 6. Rosa M. Wright, born in July 1899 in Virginia, 7. Ancel E. Wright, born in about 1902 in Virginia, 8. Robert H.     3. I noticed you mentioned Vermont Wright's as being in your upcoming book. I am very interested. My family moved from Vermont to NYearly in the 1800's. One of them was Whittlesey Wright from Pownal VT who moved when he enlistedin the War of 1812. In my direct line is Lyman Wright (b 1819 in NY). His parents were from Vermont. My Augustus was definitely from Queens, and the age is wrong on those others. The only reason I can think of why he is not on the 1860 census is that he was regular army when the CW broke out. I am certain the record I have from NARA is him, but unfortunately under "Nativity" is says only NYC. And I can't prove it until I have his hometown. A family bible page list his parents as James A and Martha Morurady (Morarity?). In 1835 he is in Evans, Erie Co, Ny and married to Altana Kingsley. Their children are Francis M 1835, Cynthia L 9/1838, Orrin Lily 2/1841, Ransom Kingsley 1845, Martha M 8/1847 and Flora A 10/1852. James was a furniture/coffin maker and partners with Lyman Hartford. There are a number of other Wrights in the Waushara Area that seem to have followed the same path but I have not been able to connect them. Land purchases are below. Orvil or Orrin S Wright born 11/1809 in MA, son of Gideon, is in Evans Erie Co, NY in 1840 and Waushara Co, WI in 1860. He is married to Emily Dunham and his daughter Phebe marries Daniel S Kingsley, the younger brother of Altana Kingsley. How do these families fit together?
