Our family,later settled in North Carolina. He was a member of the Virginia militia, during the Revolution. His son was Newton Wright, he(Newton) fought in the war of 1812, he was from North Carolina. He had nine sons. He had at least three sons, that fought in the Civil War, William, Berry and Perry(beleived to be twins). Much of my family is still in N Carolina. There also was a Solomon Wright in Smith CO., TN when he inlisted in the war of 1812 on 13 Nov 1814. Solomon of Lincoln CO. may have married an Annie Moore. Do not know if the two are on in the same.
