Author: gragg021 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.wright/15330.1.1.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I had this very discussion with someone els recently, and I feel that has been disqualified as Richard Wright, Jr of Davidson County, NC. Looking back through my correspondence, someone had a Richard Wright in Indiana who died (and was buried there) during a cholera outbreak in 1833, but he was not the one from Davidson County. Based on the timing of his will, it appears that RW, Jr. did die in 1833, but was buried in Davidson County. This was verified by several DAR documents. Unfortunately for me, the cemetery was not named. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. With so many children, it's probably easy to do. Fortunately, for researchers today, we have so many resources literally at our finger tips with computers. Celia was married to John Prim until the day he died in 1873, so no opportunity exists that he married anyone else. As a matter of fact, their son, John Primm, married Dora Dickens, daughter of Mary Jane Varker and John Thomas Dickens. Mary Jane was my GGM's daughter. I am new to the Wright family, having just recently found my Great-grandmother, Mary Ann Wright, as a result of a land deed sale. That singular document has opened up a whole new family for me. I am still working on the Wright family and have recently come across information regarding the Gallimore Cemetery, complete with a picture of Ruth Gallimore's tombstone, that I will be visiting in a couple of weeks. If you have information on where her father, Richard Wright, Jr. is buried, I'd like to know so that I can visit the site. Word had been circulating that he and wife #2,Cary Kittrell were buried at Joppa Cemetery. It has been confirmed that they are not.
