    3. Rhonda, This is very useful information, Thank you. But sad too. With a fire that destroyed one set of records and this, it makes it very difficult to find information on our families. There is hardly anything I can find on my Mothers Brother, it's all gone. What little we had went when my Aunts house blew up from a bad propane tank. Everythng is dust. At least I have a picture of my Uncle in Uniform. 3. Barbara, You might check the County Courthouse. When discharged, U. S. veterans were encouraged to have their documents recorded, and many did. Also, your local Veteran Service Officer may have some documents available. I salute your uncle's service and wish you success in your research. Best wishes, David Dorsey ddorsey@mindspring.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara Phillips" <bphil1@earthlink.net> To: <WORLDWAR2-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 22, 2006 11:29 PM Subject: Re: [WORLD WAR II] WORLD WAR II Service Records. > Rhonda, > This is very useful information, Thank you.
