    1. Re: [WORLD WAR II] U.S. Troop arrivals Liverpool + Camps south of London
    2. Rick: He was with the Army. He was assigned to the 320th Combat Engineers, Company C, 95th Division. He left the U.S. on Aug. 9, 1944 on the West Point (formerly the America) and arrived in Liverpool approximately 4 days later? I have another piece of information that states he was with the 2nd armored Division, Company "C" 17th Armored Engineering Battalion. Is this conflicting information? Please forgive my ignorance but I don't know where to research the station and/or troop list for his unit or next senior unit of assignment/attachment because unfortunately I don't know which of the above is a "unit." If you could possibly point me in the right direction I'll do my best to take it from there. Thank you so much for answering my query. Everyone on this board has been extremely helpful and I do appreciate the amount of time spent answering my questions. Adrienne
