    3. Here is a website for the USS Thomas Jefferson. I am also giving you the Website for the Liberty Ships. Thoas Jefferson is not listed amoung them. Most, if not all of the Liberty ships were names "SS" not "USS". I'm not sure why this designation, but, while doing research on the SS Hamiton, (Which went down at sea) I was given this information. http://navysite.de/crew.php?action=ship&ship=SSBN_618&squad=false http://www.usmm.org/libertyships.html I hope this helps, Barbara Phillips > [Original Message] > From: Tom Draus <tjdraus@mhtc.net> > To: <WORLDWAR2-L@rootsweb.com> > Date: 5/5/2006 2:31:27 PM > Subject: [WORLD WAR II] ship photo > > Can anyone direct me to a source to obtain a photo of the USS Thomas > Jefferson WWII liberty ship.Tom > > > > ==== WORLDWAR2 Mailing List ==== > http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/other/Military:_20th_Century/WORLDWAR2.html > This is the link to our archives.
