    3. Hello, List It has been suggested that I post my contact information on your list as someone may be looking for a war bride from World War II. I am the current President of the WORLD WAR II WAR BRIDES ASSOCIATION in the US. We have members from 22 countries. Our membership is made up of foreign-born wives and husbands of U.S. military personnel who married during the WWII era and since WWII. We also include their children and grandchildren as members. The WWII War Brides Association does not have an official web site. However, one of our newer members does have a great war brides web site: http://www.geocities.com/us_warbrides/ Her site contains information about our organization and a lot of other war bride-related subjects. As for my English roots, my aunt in Sydney,Australia, has traced my Aussie side back to the year 1520 in Newton St. Loe, Somerset. My family names from England include: ADAMS, GRALTON, ELDRIDGE, LIPPIATT, CLARINGBOLD, DIXON, GILLETT, WILCOX, RALPH (Rolph), WILKINS, WHITE, HULKE, KITE, MOXHAM, NORRIS, CLEMENT, HORNE, PILLEY, BUSH, FLOWER, HAZZARD, WILLIAMS. My ancestors arrived in Australia in 1839 aboard the "Morayshire", in 1858 aboard the "Castilian" and in 1870 aboard the "Young Australia".
