Thanks for the quick and comprehensive reply I have visited his grave in Plymouth and also obtained copy of photographs of his ship from the Library collection there. Date anomoly.... I had not noted this and will look out his service record to check. Will email again when I have digested the other information and see what is in my dads file on him. Regards Robin
