There is a Yahoo Group dedicated to military manuals, and it is possible that a member there has a copy of a user manual or a parts manual or something similar. See http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MilitaryManualCollectorsClub/ for details on how to search old messages on that Group, and how to subscribe. If posting a question to that Group, it would be best to give the official designation of the searchlight, which will probably be found on a plate attached to the equipment, or stamped/engraved directly onto the metal.
