I think that you will find that the post-war reference to 7811th SCU is an abbreviation for " Station Complement Unit ". Not to be confused with station complement squadrons. SCU' s were basically constabulary or occupation units created from portions of various units who were even stripped from combat units, for purposes of maintaining civil order. You will see references to AU's, but typically this classification was more common in the 1950's. I'm sure you will find more results on the web with these new search parameters. Rick
