    3. Affective tacticts are always copied or adapted. I believe it was the Germans who first dropped staw dummies by parachute in 1939 or 1940, so of course the allies tried it and created inflatables... Seems like I recall other inflatable pops, (tanks and such), along with loud recordings were also used before D-day to help hide the real position of troops... that was on a PBS show about D-day I believe.
