    1. Re: [WORLD WAR II] Troop Ships1945-1947
    2. I have some information on the Marine Jumper used as a troop transport but am looking for more specifics. "Emigrant Ships: The vessels which carried migrants across the world, 1946-1972" Anthony Cooke Published by Carmania Press contains information on many troop ships. After the war these ship transported displaced, refugee and other persons along with the American troops back to America. The ships also carried U.S. Citizens back to the United States. The book lists troop ships and trips made carrying other passengers, ownership, dates in service and some photos. Names of organizations such as Unesco and World Federation of Education Association, YMCA and NAYMCA sponsored persons listed as passengers on board these ships. Is this information helpful to the List? Does anyone have more information on the later troop ship passenger lists, years 1946 and 1947? Thank you.
