Hi, Linda! Could you please check your book for Howard Cole (or Howard W. Cole). He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and some others and was in the 384th. Anything you have would we appreciated. I have only partial records for his tour of duty. Thanks, Carol >From: worldwar2-request@rootsweb.com >Reply-To: worldwar2@rootsweb.com >To: worldwar2@rootsweb.com >Subject: WORLDWAR2 Digest, Vol 1, Issue 5 >Date: Sun, 20 Aug 2006 01:05:43 -0600 > > > >Today's Topics: > > 1. hi Carol, I can't find the Cole name in the back of the book, which lists all the "higher decorations" - but it states that over a thousand men were awarded the Flying Cross! so-congratulations to Howard Cole! is he a relative of yours? do you know what his rank was, or what he did?
