Robert Gale, (U.S. Army retired) was interred at Arlington National Cemetery with Army full honors on Jan 25, 2006. He served in World War 11 and Korea, where he was awarded the Silver Str. Gale was 86 when he died at Serenity Gate on Dec 7, 2005. He had lived in Perry, Ga for 25 years, was a member of Perry United Methodist Church, was a past president of the Howell Cobb Sunday School Class and was n the Perry Beautification Commission." ------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't know why this was this late being in the paper after his death. It has two photos, one with the horse drawn carriage and the other at the graveside with the Flag, the info above is between the photos.
